I think this is an entirely appropriate thing to sue over, if one must sue over anything at all.
I rather suspect that I’m swimming against the tide on this one, but so be it.
I agree. It’s a malpractice case, except in this instance the patient lived. No one would be quibbling if the lady was suing because her surviving daughter was maimed or damaged by the botched abortion.

Posted by on 04/25 at 09:22 PMWhile I agree that it’s an appropriate enough thing to sue over, lawsuits usually drag on, don’t they? And I have to wonder what this does to a kid. “Mommy’s suing for all kinds of money because I lived” isn’t knowledge that fosters a healthy childhood, I don’t think.
