Another sign that I may just get used to this wacky place someday:
White eggs look funny to me now.
Speaking of which, one of the most memorable commercial jingles to me was the one for brown eggs. Obviously it was regional. It went “brown eggs are local eggs, and local eggs are fresh!”
Posted by Jay on 05/10 at 06:32 PMThey don’t have white eggs back there?
(I use white and brown eggs fairly evenly) (I even used green shelled ones once)
Posted by Ith on 05/10 at 06:59 PMThey do, but brown is the norm, and you only see white in large numbers around Easter, though they’re always available.
Weird, ‘eh?
Posted by Deb on 05/10 at 07:02 PMJust goes to show they’re an odd bunch on the other coast!
Posted by Ith on 05/10 at 07:15 PMYeah, I miss the brown eggs. They’re harder to find further south.
