Belated Happy Birthdays
I forgot to say happy birthday yesterday to my cousin Sandy, who lives in Texas.
It was also my late grandfather’s birthday. My father’s father would have been 99 this year.
Finally, it was Bill Clinton’s birthday. Here’s hoping he stopped starving himself for at least the one day.
The 19th of August is an unfortunate day for marriages. It was the anniversary of my older brother and his first wife. If I am not mistaken, it was also the anniversary of my younger brother and his ex. I would never have picked that date, even if we had planned a more formal wedding months ahead.
