Cards Ahoy
We did Christmas cards today (well, yesterday, now), finally. Yay! We got 65 with Sadie on them, naturally. We’ve prepared 59 to send, with at least one being kept by us for posterity, and two three additional possibly to be sent if I get addresses, leaving probably three unallocated.
What amazed me is finding we had them going to 20 states. The breakdown isn’t quite so surprising though. MA is in first with 24, followed by CA with 9. VT and TX are next with 3 each, followed by 2 each for NH, RI, VA and FL. The two possibles would add one each to MA and NH. The single states are ME, CT, NJ, OH, MI, GA, KY, KS, IA, NV, CO, and HI. One of the possibles would add WA and bring it to 21 states.
I felt like such a geek, feeling compelled to count and break it down like this. Thus the file named “card breakdown because I am a geek.txt” on my desktop.
Perhaps next year we’ll be able to add even more blog friends and states to the list.
I did that too! Though not quite so many states.
