Definitely our daughter: interior baby edition
I keep calling the kids the interior baby and the exterior baby. Yeah, creativity is so a thing for me right now. Not. ROFL!
So another growth scan with the peri this morning...well, we actually didn’t see the peri, because he was stuck in traffic and they didn’t need for us to hang around because everything looked absolutely perfect. They even just went ahead and booked us in for when they assumed he’d want us back...we’ll have one more of these before she’s delivered. So when we wander home today there should be a message confirming. Pretty cool.
How perfect? Still measuring at the 60th percentile, with plenty of fluid to play around in. So much so, in fact, that the little darling has flipped over since the last time we were there! No wonder her movements felt so funny...she’s upside down...which is rightside up, if you know what I mean. Stinker is breech! And hanging out playing with her toes. LOL.
Can I just say that I am so glad I was already planning a C-Section? No stress, she can flip again or no, whatever she likes, and I don’t have to worry about it. I would be so depressed right now if I’d decided to VBAC, with the extra uncertainty. I’ve always felt like I should plan it because it would wind up being indicated anyway, and if she stays this way around then I would be right. Who says I’ve got no intuition?
Anyway, the toe thing was too funny...we could see that she had hold of a foot there at one point. She was hiding behind feet and hands and wouldn’t let us get a look at her beautiful face at all. Not so much as a profile. Heh. We could see, however, that she’s already got herself an impressive head of hair, just like her sister did. Really wild. We also got to see her doing some pretty impressive practice breathing, which was really neat to watch.
Back in three weeks to take another peek. Yay!
cool. I’d love to have seen that.
