Doctors in a Pinch
Just to address the obvious “see a doctor” on the previous post, well… I try to avoid them anyway, I owe doctors somewhere north of $1200 already at the moment and would rather not run up more, and the pinched nerve in the back isn’t a new thing. It flares up now and then, depending what I do, what I sit in, how I sit, for how long, and that sort of thing. Since the diagnosis was “probably just a pinched nerve or something” back in 1995 when my back was X-rayed and examined, it seems funny to go to a doctor for the pinched nerve a doctor told me shruggishly that I had. Also there are longstanding elbow problems that seem to have been exacerbated into flaring up by the fall, but were already there at some level.
It has to stay bad or get worse before I’ll entertain spending more money I don’t have on the all too significant portion of medical charges my insurance doesn’t cover.
well, if you’re better served letting it go away on its own(since you know it’s a pinched nerve), try to keep it warm and rested and take it easy.
