Four months.
So Valerie is right now in bed, celebrating the first day of summer by setting a new personal sleeping record. Nine hours and counting...yay!
She’s four months old today and the girl is just amazing. Her latest trick is scooting, drunken-inchworm style, across the floor. You can hardly hold her in your lap...way too restrictive for the baby who has just figured out that if she sees something she wants, she can manuver over and grab it. And yet she loves riding strapped to my chest in her carrier and will happily go for a long walk that way, outside or even through a store.
She’s teething up a storm and loves to chew on wads of cloth, like the corner of a blanket or a fistful of your shirt. She’s discovered her tongue, and will sit there and play with it, like “hey! I can stick this out! Cool!” which totally cracks me up. She’s started to look longingly at us while we eat, so I think we’ll be starting some food with her pretty soon.
I can’t believe how freaking amazingly fast she’s growing. Yikes! I feel like tomorrow she’ll be begging us for a car.
YES, dont blink b/c she will be asking for a car, blink again she’ll be getting married. IT goes by WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY too fast.
