Happy Birthday
To my niece, Jalenie, turning 15 today. We have yet to leave Sadie with a babysitter, but aside from the possibility of my mother, who already babysits dozens of hours a week for my brother’s four kids, making us less inclined to bother her, Jalenie’s the one we plan to employ.
I was thinking about which niece she was ordinally - the fourth - and I realized that out of 16 nieces and nephews, only 6 are nieces. That’s a little unbalanced, so no wonder my nephew made up for it by having three girls. Sadie is the seventh girl among her generation.

Happy birthday to your niece. My niece turns 15 also in Sept. She is the only girl with 7 boy cousins on this side of the family.
