Heimlich Can’t Help Her
So. Michelle Kwan is back. She chokes because it’s the Olympics, when she ought to win readily, then insinuates herself into this past-her-expiration-date Olympics.
Poor Michelle. Poor Hughes sister who got shoved aside.
Not that I don’t like her. I was a fan from the time I saw her skate in the World’s at an absurdly young age, when the status of the U.S. team rode on her shoulders. She’s one of the greatest skaters ever.
It’s just that the most beloved and talented among us can stay boorishly long.
