Hillary ‘08 redux
Here’s Rosemary’s take on the possibility, which is very much like my own, except that I think our motivations for wanting to see a woman in the office are different. I’d just like to get the woman president thing out of the way, myself. Heh. Anyway, I really do think that unless conditions change drastically between now and then, it’s Mrs. Clinton’s race to lose. And that doesn’t disturb me. I can see several potential positives there, but that’s another post for another day. Suffice it to say that just as Rosemary can, I can also see myself supporting her somewhere down the line.
"So then logically speaking, my dog must be a cat?”
“Logically, yes. But the contrary is also true.”Posted by on 02/12 at 01:02 PMI honestly can’t think of anything that would compell me to support her. But I’ll hold off on ranting about what I really think about her till a few more years go by

Posted by Deb on 02/12 at 03:48 PMI was never a fan of Bill Clinton, but I never hated the man, either. I was pretty angry over his choice to lie under oath, but ther Senate refused to convict, and that is that.
Hillary is an oddity to me, because I’d always had her connected with HillaryCare, but as she’s been in the senate for 4 years now, I’ve come to respect her more and more. I’m convinced that whenever Bill showed any real spine it was her doing. I doubt I would vote for her (unless the GOP tossed up a flaming turd candidate- a conservative Kerry clone, or something), but I wouldn’t be moaning about moving to Australia if she won.
