Hillary ‘08 (Yeah, I stole the title, but it fits!)
There’s a comment thread at Dean Esmay’s place that’s shaping up to be interesting...Hillary ‘08 is the topic, and it’s a favorite of mine recently. I think she’d make a strong candidate, and not because I think “my side” can whip her. In fact, I think there’s a very good chance that she’ll be our next president.
I think some of our readers will probably be shocked by this, but like some folks in that thread, I would vote for Mrs. Clinton over some supposed Republicans, including John McCain.
I’ll have to elaborate on this later (I should probably wait for 2007, but I know I won’t 
), but in the meantime you might be interested in wandering over to Dean’s.
you don’t know her background. she’d be lucky to have a Jane Fonda problem like kerry.

However, election-held-tomorrow, she beats McCain in my book, and it’s have to be something pretty freaking impressively bad to reverse that for me.
Personally, I want Hillary-Condi in 08, so that I don’t have to vote for Hill and it gets the woman president thing out of the way and should be great for punditry everywhere since it would make a mess of convention, but I just don’t see Condi running.
Gah. I might as well just save it for another post.
