I am so damned lucky.
I absolutely adore the midwife I see. After being poked, prodded, and bothered by a veritable parade of people during my last pregnancy, I know exactly what a treasure she is. And I get to see her the whole pregnancy. *happy dance*
Man, this is so much better the second time. I have some sort of clue what’s going on, I remembered my list of questions, I got to ask them all, and everything is just as peachy as pie. Since I’m going for the repeat C, I get to stick to seeing my midwife, my favorite OB, and the peri. No more being bounced around the group and I got to choose who I wanted to see. Yipee! This is huge for me, just huge.
And I’m huge, lol. I’m starting at 18 pounds below where I was when I delivered Sadie. Yikes! Oh, well. I’m hoping to gain all baby and no fat, but we’ll see how that goes. I’m eating really well but I think not quite enough to judge from my milk supply. They’ve got no issues with me nursing through the pregnancy if I want to, which is great to know (I’m still on the fence on that one). My bp was up a bit but no worries, figured it was up with the first appointment of the new pg. 8 tubes of blood, people, 8 tubes of blood.
Back in a month.
I am so stoked.
I was waiting to hear how the appointment went! I’m looking forward to all your TMI updates!
You take good care of yourself, hear?
