I Can See This Will Be A Problem
I’ve been putting up posts that are, no pun intended, postdated so they appear later, keeping the place lively.
It appears that such posts do not transmit the associated trackbacks. Nor am I certain they ping blogrolling et al if set to do so, though I haven’t done a foolproof test of that yet. I’m not sure if this is unique to Expression Engine, and anything different would be too much to ask, or if there is a way around it, or what. Any thoughts?
I’ve had trouble with trackbacks sometimes not being sent out even on entries that are current.
As for pings, I have found that it pings at the time the entry is created, not when the entry shows up, which could be confusing to people who come to your site based on that update and don’t see any new content.
