I know, I know, I’m terrible.
All is well.
Ortho guy seemed mildly amused by our presence, given that she’s absolutely within the range of normal. Gravity will do the trick over the next couple of years, he said. I do believe that Sadie, who is frequently referred to ‘round our house as Imelda, was sad that she wasn’t ordered to wear shoes all day. I, on the other hand, could barely contain my glee that I was right, dammit, and there’s not a thing wrong with the kid. Chalk one up for Mom.
My appointment was fine, too. I’m now (thank you, water retention!) at the weight I delivered Sadie at, so I hope I quit gaining any minute now like I did with her. Of course, I started out 22 pounds heavier this time, so I figure I’m doing pretty well anyhow. The little one cooperated for patient values of cooperate and has been deemed healthy, happy, and ready to bake another week. Yay! 33 weeks plus now. Getting there…
And that’s the big update. No real news is definitely good news. Sort of like no Gnus...It’s the Great Space Coaster... /flashback
Speaking of which, on PBS the other morning (a couple of months or so ago) they were showing an old Slim Goodbody segment. That was one freaky character. Scares kids into eating Cheetos lest they look like him, I think. Heh.
glad to hear Sadie’s perfectly fine, and that you and the “interior baby” are healthy
