I really can’t take much more of this.
Y’all think I’m joking or exaggerating, but I’m one of those people who should probably own one of those lightbox contraptions. I barely make it through the winter with my sanity intact. A spring like this is killing me. Look at the next few days:
Today
Cloudy skies. Maybe a spot of sun west of town. Then some drizzle north of town late day. Upper 40s to low 50s. NNE breeze.Tonight
Cloudy and drizzly. Mid and upper 40s. Wind starts to pick up.Tuesday
It gets worse. Rain sweeps up from the Cape and Buzzards Bay. Winds kick up from the northeast...we got us a storm! Upper 40s.Tuesday Night
Coastal Flood Watch, High Wind Watch along the entire coast. Windswept rain all night long. Low to mid 40s.Wednesday
Heavy rain tapers to off and on showers. Upper 40s...still windy.Thursday
Maybe some peaks of sun. AND another shower. Mid and upper 50s…...any better Friday? Don’t ask.
This is bad winter weather where I come from.
I’m also beginning to harbor the irrational fear that the summer will be really, really hot when it gets here and I’ll have to spend the whole thing locked with the baby in our single air-conditioned room.
Ugh.
