It’s always Florida. Always.
I never commented on the whole “Shiavo Memogate” thing because I was 99% certain the thing was real, and that if it wasn’t, there was a 100% chance that it reflected reality, unlike some more famous examples of the fake-memo genre.
It was real, people. You didn’t really think the GOP is too pure to recognize a political issue when it sees one, did you? Geez.
Via Michael Demmons.
Memo or not, you’d have to be really stupid to NOT believe they’d use the issue as a political ploy. Even if there’d been no physical evidence of it, you just KNOW they’d have discussed it. Just like the Democrats probably did.
I’m just about positive that ANY politician will use ANY issue if they think they can score a few points.Posted by Pammy on 04/07 at 12:30 PMYes, I suppose it always is Florida. What a time for me to have left. If this proves anything, it’s that Mel Martinez is the airheaded empty suit I’ve thought he is for years: I can’t say how much I regret his beating McCollum in the GOP Primary. Too many voters in both the primary and the general probably thought they were voting for former governor BOB Martinez.
