Mongolia
A friend of Gordon’s took a vacation in Mongolia. Here is the fascinating account.
The irony? Within a few days of reading that post, I received e-mail from an old friend of the family’s, forwarding his daughter’s “greetings from Mongolia” e-mail sent after her arrival, giving her contact info. She’ll be there for two months.
Naturally I replied to him and her, inviting her to provide me with pictures or accounts of the place that I could post here, or links if she puts anything online herself. It probably won’t happen, but we can cross our fingers.
