Sadie on the move.
Way back around Thanksgiving, Sadie rolled over. Once from back to tummy, twice from tummy to back, within a day of each other. Seeing as how she was only two months old at the time, she promptly forgot all about it, which led to some amusing scenes as her father and I tried to trick her into doing it again. She ignored us, of course.
So right around New Year’s she went on the move again, rolling tummy to back when I had her on the bed fixing he clothes, and back to tummy two or three times while she was playing with her baby gym. Then she seemed to decide that she’d rather be doing something else, and quit again.
Last night she suddenly decided that being able to flip over onto her belly was very, very cool. She’s at it again this morning, and quit in frustration barely short of making it back over from tummy to back. Judging from the way she was looking at the block she was trying to “swim” to, I’d say it’s going to stick this time.
Looks like it’s time to start baby-proofing!
