Sadie Statistics
Well, not what we expected. Her weight was 14 lbs 14 oz, up exactly a pound from a bit over two months ago. Her height was 25 3/4” for a gain of 3/4 inch. She’s at something like 40th and 50th percentiles, respectively. I think her head measurement is still on the larger side.
So basically she’s slowed down, and she’s as lean as we thought. The doctor was surprised at how much she eats, but she’s so active she must burn it right off.
She’s very healthy and we go back on July 8 for a shot-free visit. Yay! Today she had three and was highly insulted, but as usual quickly said “oh, it’s over” and stopped crying. She was an angel for the whole thing; long wait and all. Even for the stop at the supermarket afterward, instead of going straight home where she could sleep. Which was her priority over eating.
We were getting low on Sadie food, or at least on variety, and had a Shaw’s register coupon. I never even look at those, but Deb happened to notice. Why yes, we will be happy to save a buck on the six jars of Gerber we’d buy anyway, thankyouverymuch. We went in a bigger Shaw’s we don’t frequent, so they had a different selection.
Sadie’s next new food to try: apple, mango and kiwi combo. Usually we try only one new fruit at a time in a combo, but the mango and kiwi only come packaged together. If she reacts, we’ll know it’s one of the two. She’s cleared to try meat now, but we didn’t buy any.
Anyway, nothing exploded at the office today, so I’m about to resume work on a client web site based on changes they sent me; make some money before House comes on tonight. I might post a bonus Sadie pictorial first though…
