Sadie Stats
We had an excellent, expedient visit with the doctor and his cold or otherwise infuriating stethescope and ear probe.
She is now 27 3/4 inches tall, 17 pounds and 9 ounces heavy, and has a 46 centimeter head. The first two are apparently right at or just below 50th percentile. I’m not sure about the head measurement, but previously she was running more like 70th or 80th on that measure.
Not much else to say about it besides she’s happy and healthy and not behind on any milestones. When he went through the checklist, he got a few snorks from us when he asked things like “is she sitting up on her own?” We met the coolest 12 year old girl named Rachel in the waiting room, who entertained Sadie while we waited. Turned out both of us were thinking “I wonder if she babysits” while this was going on.
Next appointment is September 30, so her one year checkup is actually at a year, rather than plus a couple weeks as the past couple have been.
Congrats! Always good to have new reasons to be happy.
