Tastes Like Veal
How sad is it that the mine tragedy automatically made me think of the song Timothy, by the Buoys, which I was unaware had been written by Rupert Holmes before his “escape.”
I remember Timothy playing on the radio when I was a kid, and my realization what they were talking about. However, it didn’t seem at all odd to me that there should be a catchy pop song about disaster cannibalism.
Yeah. Weren’t the 70’s GREAT?!
I heard “Angie Baby” on my favorite 70’s lunchtime show yesterday. Another heartwarming 70’s song about a psychotic killer.
