Things change.
You know, if you told me five years ago that I’d be married and have a child, I’d have thought you were insane. If you told me I’d be happily breastfeeding when that child was nine months old, I’d have collapsed on the floor with laughter. If you told me I’d be nursing one and pregnant with another, I’d have put my tinfoil hat on, since it would have been obvious that you were an alien and very, very dangerous. Hell, if you’d told me five months ago that I’d consider nursing through a pregnancy, or at the very least taking my sweet time getting the first baby off the breast, I’d have told you to go do something anatomically impossible.
And here I am, knocked up and in no hurry to wean. And happy about it.
