This is one reason why many people have a violent hatred of politicians.
They have this awful habit of trying to fix bad legislation with additional bad legislation. It never occurs to them that the original law might have been a lousy idea.

Great! What a perfectly asinine idea. Yes, let’s penalize anyone who gets a flat in Houston city limits with a minimum $75 fine. It was probably some bureaucrat who believes the city doesn’t get enough from parking tickets who came up with this whopper.
