About

Long, long ago in a blogosphere far, far away, we met in each other's comments. Who would have guessed that three years later we'd be married and blogging about our two daughters? Not us, but here we are!

TV Stuff and Search Seeding

We ended up watching Numbers last night, and I was admiring Sabrina Lloyd, but I thought the whole episode that she was an extremely young actress playing an older character.

Not so!  She was born in 1970, on November 20.  I’m impressed.

Speaking of impressed, it’s Red Sox season, so channel 38 can’t show Enterprise as scheduled on Friday.  We discovered after we made the “tape Joan, watch Enterprise“ decision.  So we “watched” it on channel 28, which is a shared UPN/WB station out of the Providence area, and comes in poorly.  Actually, 38 isn’t so great since the latest moving around of furniture by the upstairs neighbors.  We’re probably going to end up watching and/or taping it tonight on the presumed channel 38 replay so we can actually, you know, see the episode and not have it fuzz out completely - even the sound - for 30 seconds at a time every few minutes.

I keep thinking that if they had done Enterprise like this season from the beginning, this wouldn’t be the final few episodes of the series we’re sadly anticipating.  It was great how they went all out with the mirror universe, right down to the credits.

Anyway, Jolene Blalock and Linda Park were so hot!  Even through the fuzz.  More so than usual.  Early in the series, when it was clear Hoshi was the far cuter of the two, I wondered what all the T’Pol lust was about.  Then I saw Jolene Blalock on a talk show with her lighter, longer hair and “civilian” clothes.

Speaking of TV, we haven’t been watching Smallville or Gilmore Girls lately, so I haven’t been able to admire Erica Durance, Allison Mack, Kristin Kreuk, Lauren Graham, or Alexis Bledel lately.  How sad.  Committed is on opposite House, which we tend to tape even if we watch it, so I also haven’t been seeing much of Jennifer Finnigan.  How sad.  But hey, House has Lisa Edelstein and Jennifer Morrison.  At least, I assume Cameron will be back.  And what kind of a girl’s name is Cameron anyway?

Emily Procter we see sometimes, as CSI: Miami is one of those shows that’s good to watch for being bad (Ike, David Caruso’s career and all), but we don’t make a point of it.  Speaking of which, Deb just loves the excellent Gary Sinese, so it’s kind of sad to see him channeling David Caruso in CSI: NY.  Sadly, we hardly ever watch the original CSI and get to see the other former West Winger, Jorja Fox.

At least there’s West Wing, which we watch rather zealously.  Or did before the season ended so spectacularly.  They not only have Janel Maloney, Melissa Fitzgerald, and sometimes Marlee Matlin, Danica McKellar (Elsie Snuffin has to be one of the most… different… character names ever), Elisabeth Moss, and Mary-Louise Parker, but also they now have Mary McCormack.  To me, she’s the cutest of the West Wing babes, and plays a great character.

We’ve taped but not yet watched the last three episodes of Joan of Arcadia, which seemed to be getting a bit “Friday night soap opera, starring Amber Tamblyn” lately.  Still, I want to get around to catching up, and am curious what kind of cliffhanger might end the second season.

Okay, well, that’s it for the TV name baiting of Google with a wee bit of actual commentary thrown in.  You will note that none of the above ladies are depicted as nude, naked, or without clothes, not even Erica Durance, and no Canadians were harmed in the production of this post.  You will have to look elsewhere if you are seeking actual nudity or nakedness, in pictures, images, or otherwise, of Sabrina Lloyd, Jolene Blalock, Linda Park, Erica Durance, Allison Mack, Kristin Kreuk, Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Jennifer Finnigan, Lisa Edelstein, Jennifer Morrison, Emily Procter, Jorja Fox, Janel Maloney, Melissa Fitzgerald, Marlee Matlin, Danica McKellar, Elisabeth Moss, Mary-Louise Parker, Mary McCormack, Amber Tamblyn, or for that matter (ick), David Caruso or Gary Sinese.  Sorry Googlers!  But do feel free to have a look around, even if it’s just for the totally wholesome and cute baby pictures.

  1. Channel 38’s airing Enterprise tonight at 8. I almost missed it myself.

Maybe I’ll follow up with an e-mail…

  2. After reading all that, I’ll I’ve got is: I love Smallville!!  I have a total high-school-girl crush on Tom Welling.  It is my dirty little secret!
