War of the Worlds
James Rummel likes War of the Worlds and disputes the idea that aspects of the film have any connection to 9/11, something I’d not heard before seeing them debunked.
He makes it sound intriguing, but it’s not on my list of movies to see this summer. Maybe on video, but there’s too much of interest coming up to toss any money to Tom Cruise now that he’s turned psycho. Or at least become public about his mental state.
I know there are people who never liked him, but I’ve always been agnostic, at least. I’m not one to avoid films vehemently just because of the views or off-screen actions of people involved, but all else being equal, it can become a factor.
I wish I could only see Tom Cruise in movies. I like most of the movies he’s in and I think he’s a good actor. But I don’t want to see him off camera. I don’t want to hear his views of the world or how his failed science fiction writting godling doesn’t like people takeing pills for depresion.
oh and for the record Katy has lost at least 2 points just by dating him.
I don’t know if its true or not, but there is a story floating around that he took the woman that was suppost to be his leading lady to the scifi temple. And I guess she was greated by a whole host of them. From what I hear she left as fast as she could get out of there without being rude and droped out of the movie.
Oh I will see War of the Worlds.. looks good. I will most likely pass on Fantsic Four. Somehow I can’t think it will be good from what I have seen so far. Watching the trailers make me think of Dare Devil. LOL
I’m looking forward to Charlie though.. and Kong, and I would like to see Land of the Dead ( don’t know if I will though) I’m a sucker for a good? zombie movie.Posted by wayne on 07/01 at 02:02 PM
