Where’s The Blog?
I started a longer post about my sister-in-law’s wake last night, and family stuff, but I just remembered an incident I had to put by itself.
Several of us were standing in the funeral home parking lot, after we arrived from our scenic tour and pothole inspection of Taunton, and suddenly it was blog, blog, blog, blog, blog…
My father tells Deb blog whatever she wants. My brother-in-law says he keeps hearing there’s a blog with baby pictures and stuff but he doesn’t know where it is. Little does he know that all he has to do is search jay deb, or baby pictures sadie, or accidental, or verbosity, or sadie jay, or sadie deb. Google is your friend. Then “and Wayne has a blog too?”
I forget the rest of the stretch of conversation exactly, because I was so bemused by hearing the word blog bandied about so freely and unexpectedly. I believe my stepmother noted that she just got a laptop largely because she missed the blogs while she was away from home.
Seems to me the mainstreaming of blogs is happening one family group at a time and is way beyond stopping.
now if MY family would just figure out that they’re not going to break the computer by turning it on.....

oh and I didn’t know Kathy got a laptop.. I know she was talking about it.
