Yep
I spoke with Charles on the phone last night, while he was staying in Woonsocket, RI, not to be confused with Woonsocket, SD. Sadly, his route would not bring him much closer than that and he has a fair distance to go today, though I considered twisting his arm and getting him to meet us for breakfast anyway. Sadie is much better behaved in restaurants than she is while one of us is on the phone. As well I didn’t, since I stayed awake until 3:00, reading and strangely unsleepy.
While we were on the phone, Sadie managed to climb all the way on top of my briefcase, which is one of those soft ones slightly resembling a laptop case. I always park it on the floor in front and partly under my desk. That allowed her to get almost the emtire length of her arms onto the desk, reaching stuff she could not previously. She also managed to fall onto her back from several inches off the floor. This resulted in her giving me a “doh!” look and quietly picking herself back up. Unlike her current whining as she attempts to play with the mouse and falls.
You know I can’t drive worth a darn when my arm’s twisted.
