As I keep telling people, she’s a climber…
This is from the past day, Wednesday, September 14. She’s climbing from a wooden chair, across the gap to the adjacent love seat, standing on the wooden magazine rack in between.
In the milestones department, today she learned to climb stairs, going all the way up the extra long flight from the second to third floors of my office building after minimal coaching and much watchfulness by her mother.
Climbing down stairs? Not so much. Yet. Which is funny, since she can climb down from our bed, the couch or the recliner like a pro.
Anyhow, it’s to the point where she can reach well onto our desks, and more so if she moves something under the edge to climb onto. It’s pain keeping things out of her reach. It ought to be helpful in the new place, with things arranged differently and Sadie-oriented/proofed from scratch.
